Ella was a literal dream as a photographer for my wedding. She helped me plan from across the state, scheduling phone calls and answering texts very promptly. She met with my fiance and me over coffee to help us create a timeline and go over our "vision". She waited until a couple days before the wedding to map out locations to shoot, to ensure the trees would look how she wanted them to look. Then, despite all my careful planning, the day of the wedding was not perfect (shocker) and she went with the flow better than I could have imagined--when I forgot my phone at the first look and couldn't get a hold of my bridesmaids to meet us with flowers, she found all sorts of beautiful spots for solo shots. When the effing party bus didn't show up (PSA--DO NOT book Classy Chassis), Ella didn't skip a beat and her Plan B location yielded some of my favorite photos. She also encouraged us to get to the original spot she'd mapped out, and she expertly used every bit of sunlight left to get amazing shots. She sent us a couple photos before the rest were ready when I asked to have some for thank you cards. I'm sure I could say more, but truly she was so friendly and professional and I highly recommend her to anyone who likes her style of photography. Her pricing was more than fair for the quality of photos and the amount we got; she exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier with how she immortalized our beautiful day.

Ella is an amazing photographer. She knew exactly all the positions that would make me be comfortable in. Her work is just fantastic. The pictures turned out great. She was fun to be work with. She found out a way to make me feel good and not so tense in front of the camera. Ella made sure after almost each shot that we liked the picture. Overall she did what we asked and she did it well.:)

We used Ella for my daughter's senior pictures - she was so easy to work with and we were extremely pleased with all of the pictures. They were natural and captured my daughter's personality perfectly - not overly edited like a lot of photographers do these days. Not to mention - Ella K is extremely reasonably priced and we had the final pictures within weeks! From the first phone call, I was amazed that Ella was so organized and so personable. She understood exactly what my husband and I wanted from our winter wedding shots - probably better than we even understood, ourselves!
We did not have a chance to meet in person until the day of the wedding because my husband and I were not from the area, but we went into the wedding day fully confident that Ella would do a wonderful job! She sent professional, detailed invoices, instructions, reminder texts, and requests for shot lists and preferences. She navigated our budget needs and locational needs like the pro she is.
If you cannot tell by her portfolio, Ella has a keen talent for photography that is almost unrivaled. We like Every. Single. One. of our wedding shots, and my husband and I are both very awkward people in front of a camera!
Ella took her time with us, gave great instruction to us and our wedding party, handled the huge number of family shots with grace and calmness, kept our wedding schedule ticking right along, was almost invisible throughout the whole ceremony and reception, and still managed to capture every single special moment, laugh, and memory possible.
I am in tears as I write this because I know that future generations of our family will be able to almost live in the moments of our wedding through the photos Ella captured. They will see the way my husband looked at me so lovingly as he said "I do," they will get to see the pride on our grandparents faces as we danced, and they will meet friends and family from another time as though they attended the wedding themselves.
